The Fort Louis Yacht Club takes pleasure in inviting you to compete in the 6th annual Course de l’Alliance, November 27th – 29th, 2009.
The organizing authority is the Sint Maarten Yacht Club. The Course de l’Alliance will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing of ISAF (2009 - 2012), this notice of race and by the sailing instructions.
The Rally will be held for the following Classes that may get subdivided:
- CSA Rating Rule
- Simplified CSA Rating Rule
- MULTIHULL

The event will be Category “C” as specified in the RRS 2009-2012.
Entries
Boats may enter by entering on line at www.coursedelalliance.com or by sending their entry form to Marina Fort Louis by fax, mail or E-mail no later than November 26th 2009. The entry fee may be handed in at registration. The fee is payable by – CASH – VISA/Mastercard, or cheque.
All Classes: € 100.00 Per Boat.
Bow Numbers
It may be possible that bow numbers are used for boat identification.
A deposit of € 60.00 is charged for a set of bow numbers. You can pay this deposit at registration, when the bow numbers are handed out to you. On Sunday after the regatta upon handing in the set of bow numbers the deposit will be returned to you but
if bow numbers are handed in after January 1st 2009 then the deposit money will not be returned
Registration
Registration will be on Thursday November 26th, 3:00pm till 6:00pm. Location to be announce
The warning signal for the first race will not be before 10:30am Friday November 27th 2009.
Courses
The race courses will be on the waters around the islands of Saint Martin/St.Maarten, St.Barths & Anguilla.
The sailing instructions and course details will be available at registration.
Scoring System
The low point system of Appendix A will apply.
Changes to the Racing Rules
Rule 52 Manual power shall not apply
Prizes
When competing in the Course de l’Alliance a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in each class can be won.
